What if I told you that the reason we don't have Medicare for All in the US is because of an action the Arab States took in the 1970s? As the US provided aid to Israel during the Yom Kippur War, the Arab States took matters into their own hands, placing an Oil Embargo on the US, causing major domestic disturbances in the country.
